Ganeshan Murugaiyan

Ganeshan Murugaiyan is the head of corporate coverage and advisory in BNP Paribas. A 28-year veteran in investment banking, Murugaiyan has served as head of investment banking and has spearheaded several marquee deals for leading companies across onshore and offshore markets.
Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Murugaiyan was head of investment banking at UBS Securities India where his key responsibilities included M&A and capital markets. He began his career at DSP Merrill Lynch where he worked for 10 years under various roles.
Sajal Kishore
Fitch Ratings
Sajal Kishore is a managing director at Fitch Ratings in Singapore and heads infrastructure and project finance ratings coverage across Asia Pacific. Kishore’s team is responsible for credit ratings for issuers including owners of airports, toll roads, ports, rail infrastructure, power plants, oil and gas facilities, renewable assets and public-private partnerships.
Kishore joined Fitch in Sydney in 2007 and was previously the head of energy and utility ratings for South and South-East Asia. Prior to joining Fitch, he worked in relationship management and credit roles with various commercial banks including ANZ in Sydney and HSBC in India.
Jay Kothari

Jay Kothari is senior vice president, global head international business and lead investment strategist at DSP Asset Managers. He has been with the organisation since May 2005 and with the equity investment team since 2011. He brings 19 years of experience across equities and global fundraising.
Kothari has an MBA in finance from Mumbai University and a bachelor’s degree in management studies (finance and international finance) from Mumbai University.
Pradeep Ramakrishnan

Pradeep Ramakrishnan began his professional journey with Madras Fertilizers in 1997-98 and subsequently served as the company secretary of Kothari Petrochemicals, Chennai, until 2002.
From February 2002 to January 2024, he was with Sebi, where his roles included heading the compliance and monitoring division and the department of debt and hybrid securities.
In February 2024, he joined IFSCA as executive director. Currently, he leads the department of capital markets, overseeing corporate finance, market infrastructure institutions, sustainable finance, investment funds, new products and services, and the supervision of intermediaries. Additionally, he heads the department of metals and commodities.
Vijay Krishnamurthy
India INX
Vijay Krishnamurthy is currently Interim CEO of India INX, a subsidiary of BSE and first International Exchange in GIFT City – IFSC.
He has developed an expertise in fixed income markets in his experience of over 20 years, which includes heading the debt segment at BSE and working with Crisil as additional director.
He has helped lead the development and implementation of the request for quote (RFQ) platform, security level valuations, and debt/debt hybrid indices for the Indian markets, and has contributed to several SEBI committees and working groups to help develop policies for debt markets.
Krishna Merchant

Krishna Merchant is senior reporter at IFR Asia, where she has worked since May 2016 covering onshore and offshore credit markets. Before joining IFR, she covered the banking sector and equity markets for Mark to Market at the financial daily Mint. She has worked as a senior correspondent at Business Standard and as a producer for market hour shows at Bloomberg TV.
