Robert Camacho has left his position at Blackstone where he was global head of asset based finance within Blackstone's structured finance group, according to sources.
Camacho was based in New York and also a member of Blackstone's asset based finance investment committee. His LinkedIn profile shows he joined Blackstone in January 2019.
He was formerly a partner at Goldman Sachs, where he had spent 14 years and was responsible for financing transactions across multiple asset classes, including corporate credit, structured products and fund finance.
“Blackstone is a major player in the growing asset based finance market and is excited to further scale the business with a seasoned and growing bench through its combination with credit and insurance," said a Blackstone spokesperson. "We thank Rob for his contributions and wish him well in his next chapter.”
