Frank Benhamou has departed from Barclays, where he was head of capital and structured funding solutions, according to sources.
Benhamou led the development of Barclays' significant risk transfer platform, named Colonnade, but left the bank last month with his future plans yet to be confirmed.
Benhamou had been in his last role at Barclays since January 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had also been head of capital, commercial real estate and non-performing loans solutions, and head of capital funding and solutions.
He joined Barclays in 2006 from Calyon, where he had worked in equity derivatives trading. At Barclays, his first role was as a CLO securitisation structurer, before he became a credit structurer with a focus on solutions, CLO and secured funding, and then moved into a capital and funding solutions structuring role.
Barclays did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
