Barry Chan
China International Capital Corporation Limited
Barry Chan is a managing director at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and the head of Investment Banking, Hong Kong. He is also head of the Asia-Australia Region, responsible for business development in the region.
Chan has over 20 years’ experience in securities and financial sectors in Hong Kong and Mainland China, including an 11-year stint as a securities regulator at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEx).
Chan joined CICC in September 2010, and is responsible for developing CICC’s investment banking business in Hong Kong and overseas.
Zili Guo
UBS
Zili Guo rejoined UBS in 2021, and is currently co-head of Asia Equity Capital Markets, based in Hong Kong.
Guo has over 15 years of experience in China off-shore IPOs, follow-ons, private equity financings and structured equity financings. He has led/participated in more than 100 ECM transactions for greater China clients.
Prior to rejoining UBS, he was head of ECM in CMB International, head of equity syndicate at Huatai Financial Holdings, and executive director of ECM in UBS. He has also worked in Citi’s Asia ECM and DCM teams.
Samuel Chan
BLS Capital
Samuel Chan is a seasoned fund manager with 18 years of experience in alternative strategies. He co-founded BLS Capital, where he currently manages US$450m of assets across equities and fixed income in Asia, including Japan and Australia. During his career, Chan has managed award-winning funds and developed successful market-timed investment strategies.
He previously held senior investment roles at Anli Asset Management, Lotus Asset Management, and CGS-CIMB.
Sheng Chen
Baker McKenzie
Sheng Chen is a senior capital markets and US securities lawyer at Baker McKenzie in Hong Kong. His practice focuses on capital markets, privatizations and corporate governance.
Chen has extensive experience in representing investment banks and major corporations in specialized technologies and new energy, life sciences and healthcare, and consumer goods and retail industries in Hong Kong IPOs and other international securities offerings, as well as global depositary receipts (GDR) offerings under different Stock Connect schemes.
