IFR Awards 2021: The winners

Quick read

Goldman Sachs is IFR's Bank of the Year 2021.

When David Solomon took over as CEO of Goldman Sachs he inherited an extraordinarily powerful franchise. But there was still work to be done and changes that were required. He wanted to move to a model where clients were partners not counterparties. Doing so has moved the bank to the next level.

That is just one of the 105 categories in this year's IFR Awards, including the introduction of a diversity and inclusion award, with the US D&I House gong going to Siebert Williams Shank.

Trophies will be presented at the IFR Awards Dinner on the evening of Monday April 25, 2022 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. Certificates for all awards will also be available to collect on the night. The gala dinner is the most prestigious event in the global capital markets calendar and will, once again, have the unique distinction of being attended by HRH The Princess Royal, in her capacity as Patron of Save the Children.

IFR is Save the Children’s longest-serving corporate partner, with the IFR Awards Dinner being the charity’s largest annual fundraising event. To date, thanks to the generosity of the investment banking community, the IFR Awards Dinner has raised over £29m for this worthwhile cause.
