Philip Li
China Chengxin Asia Pacific
Philip Li is chairman of China Chengxin (Asia Pacific) Credit Ratings, the offshore unit of the Shanghai-based rating agency. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Hong Kong debt capital markets, having worked as senior vice president (finance) at the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation and head of global capital markets at IBJ Asia (now part of Mizuho Financial Group).
Kelly McKenney
Tradeweb
Kelly McKenney is director and head of distribution for Asia (ex-Japan) at Tradeweb, responsible for buy-side client relationships in the region. He joined the company in 2006 in France and relocated to Hong Kong in 2013, and earlier worked at MarketAxess and Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust.
Tradeweb provides electronic marketplaces for the fixed income and derivatives industry. It is majority owned by Thomson Reuters, IFR’s parent company.
Freddy Wong
Fidelity International
Freddy Wong is portfolio manager at Fidelity International in Shanghai, where he is responsible for renminbi fixed income investments in the group’s newly established onshore fund management company. He was previously based in Hong Kong as a fixed income trader, managing daily liquidity for a number of funds in multiple currencies, including onshore and offshore renminbi. He joined Fidelity in 2002 and was earlier a fixed income portfolio specialist.
Timothy Yip
HSBC
Timothy Yip is head of cross-border renminbi in HSBC’s debt capital markets group, based in Hong Kong. His role focuses on DCM origination related to renminbi internationalisation, especially in the offshore Dim Sum market and the onshore Panda bond market, and covers financing activities across the capital structure. He is also responsible for coverage of Hong Kong-incorporated financial institutions.
Ricco Zhang
International Capital Market Association
Ricco Zhang is director, Asia Pacific, at the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for ICMA’s development in Greater China and works very closely with regulators, financial institutions and other market participants to promote and maintain the best market practice. He has previously worked for international law firms, investment banks and other financial institutions.
Ina Zhou
IFR Asia
Ina Zhou is China credit correspondent at IFR Asia, based in Hong Kong. She covers onshore and offshore renminbi financings, as well as regulatory developments and market trends. She joined IFR in 2015 after completing a masters degree in Europe, and earlier seven years as a financial journalist in Shanghai, most recently covering onshore capital markets at Dow Jones.
