Alexi Chan
HSBC
Alexi Chan is the global co-head of debt capital markets at HSBC, overseeing a team of over 300 professionals around the world. He is based in Hong Kong, and previously worked in Singapore and London. Before joining HSBC in 2000, he worked as an economic adviser in HM Treasury, the UK’s economics and finance ministry. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford, and completed his masters degree at the London School of Economics.
Brian Coulton
Fitch Ratings
Brian Coulton rejoined Fitch Ratings in October 2015 as chief economist after a stint as emerging market strategist at Legal and General Investment Management in London. Prior to that, Coulton worked for 11 years in the sovereign group at Fitch Ratings, including spells in Hong Kong as head of Asia Pacific sovereigns and in London as head of EMEA sovereigns and global economics. He was formerly an economic adviser at HM Treasury.
Andrew Cross
International Finance Corp
Andrew Cross is the deputy treasurer for Asia and Pacific at IFC. Based in Singapore, he leads IFC’s treasury and debt capital market transactions across Asia and the Pacific region. Most recently, Cross was the head of the Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Caribbean treasury teams. He joined IFC in January 2006 as a principal financial officer. Prior to that Cross was at Merrill Lynch International.
Luke Hong
ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office
Luke Hong is group head and principal specialist at the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO). He is responsible for leading a group of economists to undertake macroeconomic and financial surveillance on member countries, as well as developing a surveillance framework on the fiscal side of member countries. Prior to joining AMRO, Hong worked as the head of center for fiscal analysis at the Korea Institute of Public Finance.
Michael Jordan
Asian Development Bank
Michael Jordan is the ADB’s assistant treasurer in charge of the investments division. He is responsible for the management of ADB’s liquidity and investment portfolios with a view to maximising returns versus specific benchmarks. Prior to joining ADB, he was Asian head of rates and emerging markets at WestLB, in charge of all risk-taking activities in foreign exchange, interest rate and credit trading. Jordan has over 25 years of investment banking experience in Asia and has previously worked in Tokyo and in Singapore.
Peter Munro
European Investment Bank
Peter Munro is head of investor relations in the debt capital markets department of the European Investment Bank. His responsibilities include coverage of investors and credit rating agencies, as well as the promotion of EIB’s market-leading Green bonds. He is an alternate member of the executive committee of the Green Bond Principles. Munro was previously at Citigate Dewe Rogerson in London, advising companies on investor relations for equity and M&A transactions.
B Sriram
State Bank of India
B Sriram became managing director of the State Bank of India corporate banking group in November 2015. Prior to this, he was managing director of the national banking group, MD of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, chief general manager, Delhi Circle and chief general manager of global markets, looking after the bank’s investment portfolio, money market and forex operations. He is has a post-graduate degree in physics from St Stephen’s College, Delhi and a diploma in management from AIMA.
