Ralf Burmeister is senior portfolio manager for covered bonds at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. Prior to joining in 2011 he was with LBBW becoming head of the covered bond and financials research team in 2007. Burmeister is deputy member of the European Covered Bond Council’s (ECBC) Steering Committee.

Götz Michl is head of funding and debt investor relations at Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, where he has been working since 2010. Before his move to pbb, he was head of German real estate for RBS. Prior to joining RBS ABN AMRO, he worked for 10 years at HypoVereinsbank in a variety of positions.

Friedrich Luithlen is head of covered bonds at DZ BANK. The bank is a major player in the euro markets in both placement and trading. Since 2004, Luithlen has been originating transactions across Europe and North America.

Jörg Huber is head of funding and investor relations at Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg, responsible for the primary markets business, benchmark issuance and international funding. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, London and Tokyo. In 1996 Huber joined JP Morgan, moved to DZ Bank in 1999, and joined LBBW in 2002.

In this capacity, his primary responsibilities include leading several key strategic initiatives for the firm as well as funding activities, liquidity management, debt investor relations and asset/liability management within the bank’s Munich-based treasury division.

Matthias Melms is a senior covered bond analyst and deputy head of fixed-income research at NordLB. He is responsible for the weekly publication “Covered Bond View” as well as publications on specific topics like quarterly studies of the German Pfandbrief market and the yearly factbook “Issuer Guide Covered Bonds”. He has worked at NordLB since 2000.
Jens Tolckmitt

Jens Tolckmitt was appointed chief executive of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp) in June 2009. From 2003 to 2009, he was the managing director of the Association of Foreign Banks (VAB) in Germany. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, Tolckmitt worked for the Association of German Mortgage Banks in Bonn and Berlin in several roles.
