Stephane Bataille
Commerzbank
Stephane Bataille joined Commerzbank as head of FIG Origination in 2012. He started as a derivatives trader at Dresdner in 1992, and from 2001 to 2005 He was running HSBC´s Covered Bond syndicate. In 2006 Bataille joined Morgan Stanley as Head of Covered Bonds, and joined LBBW in 2008 and appointed head of FIG Origination and Syndicate in 2010.
Ralf Burmeister
Deutsche Asset Management
Ralf Burmeister joined Deutsche Asset Management in October 2011, and is Senior Portfolio Manager for Covered Bonds. Prior to this he was with LBBW becoming head of the Covered Bond and Financials team in 2007. Burmeister has been deputy member of the European Covered Bond Council’s (ECBC) Steering Committee and is CIIA.
Torsten Elling
Barclays
Torsten Elling is Managing Director and co-head European Rates Syndicate at Barclays in London, responsible for all SSA and Covered Bond new issues and primary trading activities. Elling joined Barclays in 1999 to build European covered bond trading in Frankfurt, and was involved in the first 50-year Obligation Fonciere issue and the inaugural US structured covered bonds.
Joerg Huber

Joerg Huber is Managing Director Treasury, Head of Funding & Investor Relations, responsible for the primary markets business, benchmark issuance and international funding. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt, London and Tokyo. In 1996 he joined JP Morgan, moved to DZ Bank in 1999, and joined LBBW in 2002.
Matthias Melms

Matthias Melms is a senior covered bond analyst and Deputy Head of Fixed Income Research at NORD/LB. Melms is responsible for the weekly publication “Covered Bond View” as well as publications on specific topics like quarterly studies of the German Pfandbrief market. He has worked at NORD/LB research since 2000.
Jens Tolckmitt

Jens Tolckmitt was appointed Chief Executive of the Association of German Pfandbrief Banks (vdp) in June 2009. From 2003 to 2009 Jens was the Managing Director of the Association of Foreign Banks (VAB) in Germany. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, Jens worked for the Association of German Mortgage Banks in Bonn and Berlin in several roles.
