Paul Guire is head of ICAP’s office in Frankfurt, where his main responsibilities lie in promoting the securities operations in Europe. He joined ICAP in 1979 and has remained with the group since that time, heading various desks including US$ CD’s, US$ FRA’s, euro repos and emerging derivatives.
Carlos Stilianopoulos - Caja Madrid
Carlos Stilianopoulos was made deputy chief executive at Caja Madrid in May 2008. Since May 2007, he has been in charge of the treasury, capital markets, funding and investment portfolio units for the bank. He joined Caja Madrid as head of origination and syndication in 1998, and was named head of capital markets with responsibility for funding in 2000.
Sayuri Aoyama - Morgan Stanley Investment Management
Sayuri Aoyama is a vice president at Morgan Stanley in London, and a senior analyst in structured credit investments and covered bonds. She was an assistant portfolio manager and senior ABS analyst at Eiger Capital and Sumitomo Banking Corporation.
Sebastien Gianfermi - BNP Paribas
Sebastien Gianfermi is head of covered bonds and sovereign, supranational and agency (SSA) trading at BNP Paribas. He joined BNPP in 1997 where he started his career as a Eurodollar trader. In 2001, he moved on the euro SSA side, before being appointed head of trading for SSA and covered bonds across the major currencies.
Nicolas Poli - Merrill Lynch
Nicolas Poli is a director at Merrill Lynch where he trades covered bonds. He joined the firm in July 2008 from Calyon, where he was a covered bonds and sovereign, supranational and agency (SSA) trader since 2004.
Christian Reusch - Unicredit
Christian Reusch is managing director and global co-head of debt capital markets at Unicredit Group’s Markets & Investment Banking Division. He joined the organisation in 1999 to help restructure the syndicate desk and support covered bond origination, before in 2006 taking over as global head of syndicate.
Soenke Siemssen - BayernLB
Soenke Siemssen heads the fixed income research department at BayernLB, a post he has held for three years. He is responsible for interest rate and yield forecasting, covered bonds, corporate bonds and European asset backed securities.
Rupert Warmington - Tradeweb
Rupert Warmington joined Tradeweb in 2004 as product manager in the credit area. Prior to that he spent more than 10 years as a trader in the fixed income markets, most recently as a credit trader at ABN AMRO in London. In his five year stint at ABN AMRO he traded a range of sectors including telecoms, utilities and autos, as well as the sterling book.
Hermann Maschl - Hypo Investmentbank
Hermann Maschl is head of funding in Hypo Investmentbank, a bank owned 100% by the state of Lower Austria that is principally involved in public finance. Between 2005 and 2007 he was responsible for covered bond funding in BAWAG, and before that deputy head of treasury sales in PSK.
